Bambusa chungii

Bambusa chungii, also known as Tropical Blue or White bamboo, is a must have bamboo for any collection! New culms are covered with a whitish-blue powder, hence it's nickname. A slightly open, erect clumper that grows to a height of about 30 feet with 2 inch cane. This one is pretty cold tolerant, withstanding temps to about 21 degrees F.
