Bambusa eutuldoides viridi vitatta, also known as Asian Lemon Bamboo, is simply put one of the most beautiful bamboos in my opinion. New culms present a pinkish/peach color with green stripes, fading to a bright yellow culm with green stripes as it ages. Reaching heights of about 25 feet and a diameter of 1 inch, this tight tropical clumper is actually quite frost tolerant, being listed as withstanding temps to about 13 degrees F. A highly coveted ornamental bamboo in China, it will surely be your most prized and striking bamboo in your collection.
