Phyllostachys Aurea

I purchased some small seedlings/divisions in January 2004 from a vendor on eBay. These have been growing ever so slowly, but have doubled in size each year.. We also aquired some divisions from a friend of my brothers in the fall of 2004 and these are growly quite nicely.

Jan 2004. 3 of these are Aurea, 3 are Nigra. Not sure which is which yet.

June 2006. We planted the divisions along my brother's fence line under the oaks. They seem to bee doing just fine here. Originally I think we got 5 divisions, only 3 survived.
