Phyllostachys Nigra

I purchased some small seedlings/divisions in Fall 2003 from a vendor on eBay. I initially placed them in 4 inch pots as they were quite small. Not a lot of groth in 2004, but enough to place them in 1 gals. I'm finding that much like the Henon there is more happening below the surface and that in another year or so it they will really start to take off.
