Goldfinger Banana
aka FHIA-01

The Goldfinger banana is a hybrid grown by the FHIA in hopes to develop the next great commercial variety of bananas. It has a fast growth rate developing to a height of 6 to 8 feet. Said to be a heavy producer with large fruit, but we have only seen medium sized fruit in small bunches. Fruit produced is sweet and tasty. Cold hardy to Zone 8.
