Cycad Propagation

Most cycads can be propagated two ways: grow from seed and separate offshoots, also known as pups. Cycads are very slow growing compared to other plants. Therefore growing from seed will produce a nice sized yard speciman in 10 to 20 years, depending on the species. Growing them from offshoots will allow you to get a head start on having you a beautiful yard speciman.
