Chamaedorea microspadix
"Bamboo Palm"

A native of Mexico, this plants trunk often resembles bamboo, earning it's nickname "Bamboo Palm". Makes an excellent indoor or outdoor specimen. Under good conditions it can be a fast grower and is naturally clumping. Often mistaken for and sold as Chamaedora seifrizii, also nicknamed "Bamboo Palm", though this species is reported to be more cold tolerant than Seifrizii. Some sites report it will take down to about 18 degrees F while other say no lower than 26 degrees F.

We currently have 1 year old seedlings growing in 1 gal pots.
