Another native palm of Madasgascar only recently discovered in 2004. Known as the White Powder palm for it's pure white crownshaft and upper stems. Seems to be a slow grower, and some have reported that temps below 27F have outright killed it. Slowly gaining popularity with palm enthusiasts, you won't find this one at the local retailer.
