Jubaea chilensis
"Chilean Wine Palm"

A native of Chile, this solitaire palm is readily recognized by it's stout, gray trunk and feathery fronds. Used widely in it's native land for making wine and sugar, this palm reportedly has become somewhat scarce in native landscape. Somewhat slow growing until it's trunk starts to develop, these palms make an excellent landscape specimen in the right environment and are known to withstand severe frost, even when young.

We currently have 1 and 2 year old seedlings growing in 1 gal pots.
