Also known as the Mexican Fan palm, this skyscraping palm can attain heights of over 100 ft! Native to the desert valleys of Mexico, this palm is one of the fastest growers and very drought tolerant once established. Not a good palm for a location with a small yard. Very similar to Washingtonia filifera, however, it has a narrower trunk, grows slightly faster and taller, and has a litle less cold tolerance. These propagate readily from seed and can be found at local retailers wherever palms are sold. Currently we are not growing any of these. |
