Prosperity Antique Garden Rose

The prosperity rose is a hybrid muck rose dating back to 1919. Perle des Jardins is one of the parents, which is said to account for it's sweet smell. Prosperity produces clusters of medium sized white flowers with golden stamens that are often heavy enough to cause the canes to bend towards the ground. It is also a repeat bloomer that continues to produce virtually the entire growing season. Prosperity is vigourous grower that thrives well in poor soil, heat, cold, and had very few pest and disease problems. Normally a medium sized shrub, if trained it will grow to well over 8 feet in height. Recommended for zones 6 through 9. This was one of the first antique roses in my collection and has performed very well in my NE Florida environment.
