Also known as Betula pendula, this is truly a graceful tree. Pyramidal in youth with slender, rounded branches. A beautiful tree when grown together in clumps of 3 or more. The green leaves turn yellow to yellow green in fall. These trees grow at a moderate to fast rate and can reach heights of well over 40 feet. These trees grow hardily in Zones 2-7, though will grow in zones 8 and 9 with a shorter lifespan.

Each 2 year old seedling averages 18-24" in height. They will be carefully packaged to ensure they arrive healthy and ready to plant.

Shipping begins around mid-April once the frost is out of the ground. All plants are shipped bare root from my father's nursery in Midwestern Wisconsin.
